About Houston, We Have a Problem

Hey! I'm Houston. If you found this page, you probably know me from YouTube or Twitter because nobody's gonna follow a rando. Welcome! Around here, I’m usually writing about art, community, theology, and sometimes theme parks. As of 2023, there's lots of stuff I'm working to create right now, including a documentary about a place called L’Abri, a show called The Art Within Podcast, a book called Theme Park Theology, a miniseries called The Movie Whisperer, and an inconsistent stream of YouTube videos about all sorts of arts-and-culture things.

Sometimes, the writing that I post on this page has already been posted on my Patreon in advance. Often, my writing is fleshing out ideas that will eventually end up in YouTube videos—so don’t be surprised if the article you read ends up being a video you watch 6 months later. I don’t know where it’s all going to lead, but it would be lovely if you came along on the journey.
